When I was a young girl in Argentina, I witnessed the WCTF fly in a young girl from Serbia in need of a transplant. Because of the conflict, she couldn't receive it at home. She survived thanks to the incredible efforts of hundreds and grew up to share her story. The WCTF is a key part of saving children's lives and connecting them with transplants. They find strategic places in conflict and connect these children and local doctors with resources, medical possibilities, and a chance to fight for their life.
