I hope this painting inspires many children and their families going through difficult times to look forward to a new beginning. - Barbara My painting “The Train” was created for the World Children’s Transplant Fund for a cause I’ve strongly believed in for more than 20 years. When I was a young girl in Argentina, I witnessed the WCTF fly in a young girl from Serbia in need of a transplant. Because of the conflict, she couldn't receive it at home. She survived thanks to the incredible efforts of hundreds and grew up to share her story. The WCTF is a key part of saving children's lives and connecting them with transplants. They find strategic places in conflict and connect these children and local doctors with resources, medical possibilities, and a chance to fight for their life.
